Performed field surveys; produced design drawings and construction documents for K-8 school expansions and remodeling in a project-team environment; processed submittals, ASI's, RFI's, and RFP's, using Submittal Exchange and LEED forms using Greengrade/LEED Online. Major clients include Posen-Robbins School District 143-1/2, South Holland School District 151, and Hazel Crest School District 152-1/2.

Managed and organized this business start-up for small creative residential design projects.

Performed a full range of architectural services for remodeling residential, corporate, educational, municipal, and commercial properties. Prepared designs, working drawings, and specifications. Developed relationships with clients leading to rapid and accurate completion of projects to clients’ satisfaction. Major clients included DeVry University and TJX retail stores.

Performed field surveys for school remodeling and life safety upgrades. Prepared designs, cost estimates, working drawings, project manuals and specifications for public bidding. Provided construction administration and coordination between school districts and contractors for remodeling projects. Major clients included Community Consolidated School District 93, Carol Stream, IL; Riverside Brookfield High School District 208, Riverside, IL; Triton College, River Grove, IL; and the University of Illinois at Chicago.

 

Aug. 1994 to Aug. 2001

Architectural Project Manager, Panduit Corp., Tinley Park, Illinois 

Progressed from a construction supervisor to an architectural project manager for this global manufacturer of wiring and communications products. Successfully managed building expansions and interior remodeling projects throughout more than two million square feet of facilities. Developed corporate expansion plans for existing and new facilities. Designed Master Facility Plans for worldwide locations. Inspected, selected, and advised on office property acquisition throughout the United States.
